I am broke!

Really broke!

It is one thing being a starving artist. There's a cetain level of nobility in that. It is romantic in a way.

But nobody pities a starving lawyer.

If I don't bill a client I get no paycheck. Last month I billed a couple hours because I was studying for the Bar.

Now I'm billing like a madwoman. I won't see a paycheck though until first week in September.

So for now I'm a starving lawyer.

I better get used to eating Ramen noodles and Lucky Charms until September 7.
